Labiaplasty

In this procedure, labia minora tissue that lies below the labia majora is removed. Cosmetically, this will improve the vaginal appearance, but there are also many practical benefits as well. Women with this excess tissue often complain of pinching or chaffing during certain activities or when wearing certain clothing.

Hysterectomy

There are several types of hysterectomies a woman can have. When the uterus and the cervix are removed (ovary status is separate) the procedure is referred to as a total hysterectomy. This can be done through an incision made near the bikini line, known as a total abdominal hysterectomy (TAH). A total hysterectomy can also be done through the vagina and a small incision in the naval, while using a laparoscope. This is known as a total vaginal hysterectomy (TVH) or a laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH).

Vaginal Cuff

After a woman has a total hysterectomy done, her cervix that once was the "closing" at the top of the vagina is no longer there. As a means for the vagina to remain closed, it is sewn together at the top which is then referred to as the vaginal cuff.

LEEP Procedure

LEEP - or, a Loop Electrocautery Excision Procedure - is a procedure using an electrical looped wire to remove lesions from the cervix that, if left untreated, could potentially lead to cervical cancer. More times than not, the course of care is having an abnormal result on a Pap, followed by a colposcopy and cervical biopsy.

Cystocele and Rectocele Repair

Cystocele and rectocele conditions occur when the vaginal wall loses its stability and causes a prolapse. A cystocele is when it is the bladder that prolapsed or bulges through the vaginal wall. A rectocele is when it is the rectum that has prolapsed.
